A "Memorial Plaque" is installed on the left of the front entry leading to the Information and Gift Center and nameplates are available for a "Gifts and Memorials Plaque" that has been installed on the right side.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE INFORMATION AND GIFT CENTER (IGC)
This all volunteer operation is a primary source of funding for many of the Friends' activities. If interested in giving your time, please check at the Information and Gift Center, call us at 888-2472, or click on Contact Us to e-mail us your name and phone number and we will contact you. All proceeds go back into the park. We as volunteers get to meet people from all over the world and share our area with them. It's fun and informative.

We carry Garden items, bird books & feeders, bat house kits, stained glass look items, night lights, vases, picnic items, puppets, jams, tiles, educational items, playing cards, puzzles, walking sticks, canes, umbrellas, bamboo shirts (Bamboo?????). You have to see these great items. Jewelry, clothing, caps, books of local history, Oregon history, gardening, cookbooks, clippers for pruning....and the list goes on. Please come and see the gift headquarters for the Bay area, and Coos County and whereever you are from.

"The Shore Acres Story" (the history of Shore Acres).
